Solitare

We all know that you wouldn't play Solitare at work. And we all know that you would never cheat - even if you could. But just in case, consider this:

Among your choices in Windows Solitare are to draw either 1 card or 3 cards.
- if you draw 1 card, then you get to see every card in the deck - but you can only go through the deck one time
- if you draw 3 cards, then you can go through the deck an unlimited number of times; but you might not ever be able to get to the red Jack that you need

If you hold down CTRL + SHIFT + ALT while you draw, you can go through the deck 1 card at a time AND go through the deck an unlimited number of times.

The Microsoft programmer who wrote the game for Windows built in this advantage.

Now you, too, can get ahead the same way that Microsoft does: you can cherry pick the best rules, and avoid the rest.

A Chance To Play God

This is better than Sim City.

On the below-cited web site you get a chance to fling a massive object (comet, asteroid, government fib, etc.) at the Earth and see what would happen. It's a guy thing, I guess.
