Don't Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes

Planets, moons, comets, meteors, nebulae, galaxies? They're all out in the night sky (especially here in the boonies).

The Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics makes it easy to identify and locate those various heavenly bodies.

I'll think about y'all when my head lady and I look up a sky chart, then grab some cold sparkly water, and turn off the house lights to guarantee a dark much darker than city folk ever see. Then we head for the hot tub and sky watch the night away.

Talk about a heavenly body....

You'll know which you are if you lose your Windows XP password. You can be prepared for such occassions by making a password reset diskette.

Creating a password reset disk is quite simple.

Where Did The Time Go?

Where Did The Time Go.com can help you figure out just how much time you've wasted.

Based on personal information such as age, gender, number of children, and such, this site will tell you how many years you've slept, how many years you've given to "the man", and more... Before believing this, I'd like to know
1. if the site developer had kids, which would quick warp the sleep numbers
2. if the site developer surfs (waves, that is); surfers are notorius for missing work; ask any beach-town boss

A Really Interactive Map

Any good on-line map has a zoom-in/zoom-out capability. This one gives you eye candy, plus the usual: points of interest, restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, yada-yada.

Let me know when one of these map sites has surf reports and parking information.
