Microsoft Office: Select Text Using Your Mouse
Eveyone knows how to do that, right? You highlight text by dragging the cursor over it.
But wait! There's a better way! In fact, there are at least 5 better ways to select text using your mouse. That's right. Five – count 'em – Five!!
- Select a word: double-click that word.
- Select a single line of text:left-click in the left margin next to the line.
- Select a sentence:
- Hold down
- Left-click anywhere in the sentence.
- Select a paragraph:
- left-click three times in the paragraph
or - left-click twice in the left margin next to the paragraph
- left-click three times in the paragraph
- To select the entire document: click three times in the left margin.
