Media Bias at Work

I'm trying to figure out if this is a commentary on the people who use these various news sources, or on the news sources themselves.

Whichever it is, it speaks volumes.

Yeah, I know it's not cool to enjoy someone else's pain.............

Sometimes, it's just too delicious to pass up.
Normally, I'd consider drug abuse to be a tragedy. But when the doper is Mr. Family Values, Mr. Self-Righteous, Mr. Throw Away The Key, Mr. Rant About Your Invented Enemies, Mr. Spew Vemon For the Dittoheads To Spread As Gospel - then it takes on a different meaning.

NeoN got me going on this. As I read about it, I realized that Rush Limbaugh's addicition to Hillbilly Heroin - Oxycontin - very likely is what cost him his hearing. A dangerous side effect of the hydrocodone is hearing loss.

Even with that hearing loss, he kept going back to his illegal drugs. What's next? Lose a billion dollar media empire? Go to Jail?

The best rehab would start with a regimen of honesty and humility. Anyone care to take bets on this one?

Some guys have all the luck. Others just never learn.

Unfair, unbalanced: the story of my life

"I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious, of traitors."

George Herbert Walker Bush (Bush 41, Bush the Elder)
at Dedication Ceremony for the George Bush Center for Intelligence, April 26, 1999

"Even if those who do the exposing sit at the right hand of YOUR son?"
